Content review process
Marketplace review helps buyers evaluate listings consistently. It is not a penetration test, legal advice, or a guarantee that software is vulnerability-free.
1. Submission and listing review
We compare the listing, screenshots, declared compatibility, licensing, and included documentation with the submitted package.
2. Package and file checks
Archives must extract successfully. We check package structure and scan for suspicious files and common malware indicators.
3. Documentation and demo
Installation guidance and required dependencies are checked. Demo links are validated and may be disabled when unavailable.
4. Manual inspection where applicable
Selected products receive manual code inspection. A badge states the actual review level; listing review does not imply a code audit.
5. Updates and re-review
Material updates can require another review. A review panel identifies the product version that was reviewed.
Buyer responsibilities
Review requirements and dependencies, test in a non-production environment, keep dependencies patched, change default credentials, configure secrets safely, and perform security review appropriate to your use case.
