Onyx — Dark Mode Email Template Pack

Onyx is built table-based with fully inline CSS, which maximises compatibility across Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, and mobile clients. Bulletproof buttons are used throughout, so calls-to-action remain fully functional even when image blocking is enabled.

You get 14 dark-first HTML email templates spanning three groups: transactional (welcome, account created, email verification, password reset, login alert), commerce (order confirmation, shipping, receipt/invoice, payment failed, subscription started), and marketing (newsletter, promo campaign, product update, event invitation). A gallery index and full documentation are also included.

The entire pack uses a four-color palette, so you can rebrand every template in seconds with a single find-and-replace. All dynamic content such as names, order numbers, and URLs are marked with {{ variable }} placeholders, making the templates ready to drop into Handlebars, Blade, Liquid, or Twig without any extra setup.

No — Onyx requires zero dependencies and has no build step. The HTML files are ready to use straight out of the box with CSS already fully inlined.

Each template is designed dark-first and includes the color-scheme: dark CSS property, which signals to supporting clients (such as Apple Mail and certain mobile clients) to render in true dark mode rather than auto-inverting your layout. Because the dark canvas and palette are explicitly coded rather than inferred, the templates display intentionally in all clients.

The {{ variable }} syntax used for all dynamic values is compatible with Handlebars, Laravel Blade, Liquid (including Shopify), and Twig, among others. If your framework uses a different delimiter style, the placeholders are straightforward to find-and-replace in bulk.
