Description
Stockwise is a substantial, local-first inventory and order operations dashboard built with Vue 3, TypeScript and Vite. Manage product stock, fulfillment, suppliers and purchase orders from one responsive workspace, with working mutations and browser persistence rather than decorative screens.
Its industrial editorial design uses warm paper surfaces, graphite navigation and an amber operational accent. The dense layout is designed for real catalog and fulfillment workflows without relying on a UI framework or chart library.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Stockwise require a backend or database?
No. The included application works immediately with browser localStorage. The typed store is intentionally isolated so you can replace persistence and actions with your own API.
Which inventory workflows are functional?
You can create and edit products, archive catalog entries, adjust stock, filter inventory, progress orders through fulfillment, and receive partial or complete purchase orders into stock.
Is Stockwise built with Vue 3 and TypeScript?
Yes. It uses Vue 3 script setup, strict TypeScript and Vite 5, with no UI framework or chart dependency.
Can I customize warehouses, currency and reorder levels?
Yes. Company defaults are editable in Settings, individual products have their own warehouse and reorder point, and the seed data and CSS design tokens are documented for deeper customization.
What data import and export options are included?
Stockwise includes JSON backup and restore, CSV product export, and a deterministic demo-data reset. Imported JSON is validated before replacing the current workspace.
Does the package include documentation and tests?
Yes. The download includes setup and customization documentation plus unit tests for stock health, inventory valuation, order progression and purchase-order totals.
