Quizzly — Quiz & Survey Builder for WordPress

Quizzly requires WordPress 6.2 or higher and PHP 8.0 or higher. The plugin uses namespaced, standards-first PHP code, so a modern hosting environment is recommended. No external third-party services are needed — everything runs self-hosted on your own server.

All responses are stored entirely on your own WordPress site in a dedicated database table — no data is sent to any third-party service. You can review submissions and view average-score analytics per quiz directly from your WordPress dashboard.

You embed any quiz or survey using the simple shortcode [quizzly id="12"], replacing the number with your quiz's ID. The shortcode works in any WordPress page, post, or widget area that supports shortcodes, and submissions are handled via AJAX so the page never reloads.

Quizzly supports three question types: single choice, multiple choice, and true/false. You can run a quiz in scored mode — where answers are evaluated and a result tier with a custom message is shown based on the final score — or in unscored survey mode for gathering open feedback without scoring.

The plugin is also fully translation-ready and ships with a .pot file, and it uses nonces and capability checks throughout to keep your site secure.
