Description
Vaulta is a self-hosted shopping cart for digital products, built with Laravel 11 and MySQL. Sell UI kits, templates, icons, sample packs or code with a session cart, guest checkout, per-purchase license keys and an instant, no-account download page. No SaaS fees, no monthly lock-in. Tailwind via CDN, custom authentication, no npm/Vite build step.
The storefront has a dark hero homepage, a browse page with search & sorting, and product pages. Buyers add to a session cart, check out as a guest (just name & email), and land on a token-protected download page with a unique license key per item. The admin covers a dashboard, product CRUD, orders with license keys & download counts, and store settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the server requirements to run Vaulta?
Vaulta requires PHP 8.2+ with a MySQL database and a web server such as Apache or Nginx — the standard stack for any Laravel 11 application. Because Tailwind CSS is loaded via CDN and there is no Vite build step, Node.js and npm are not required on your server at all.
Does a buyer need to create an account to download their purchase?
No — Vaulta uses guest checkout, so buyers only provide their name and email address. After payment they receive a token-protected download page that gives instant access to their files and unique license keys without ever registering an account.
How are license keys generated, and is there one per product or per order?
Vaulta generates a unique license key for every individual item purchased, not just one per order. Each key is tied to that specific purchase and is displayed on the buyer's token-protected download page, making it easy to validate or track usage per sale.
What types of digital products can I sell with Vaulta?
Vaulta is built for any downloadable digital good — UI kits, templates, icon sets, sample packs, code scripts, and similar products. There is no shipping or physical-goods logic, so the entire flow is optimised for instant digital delivery.
What is included in the package and how do I get started quickly?
The package includes the full Laravel 11 source code, a MySQL schema, and a database seeder that pre-loads an admin account plus 8 sample digital products and orders so you can explore the storefront and admin panel immediately. The admin panel covers a dashboard, product CRUD, order management with license keys and download counts, and store settings.
Can I customise the storefront and admin panel, and are there any recurring fees?
Yes — Vaulta is a self-hosted PHP script, so you have full access to the source code and can modify the Tailwind-styled templates, branding, and business logic as needed. There are no SaaS fees or monthly subscriptions; you pay once and host it on your own server.
