Description

Tindra is a self-hosted Laravel 11 application for restaurants and cafés: a beautiful public menu, a session-based order cart, pickup & delivery checkout, and a complete admin panel for live orders, menu items and settings. You own the code and the data — no monthly SaaS fees, no per-order commission.

It's a real, full-stack app: menu sections and dish pages, sold-out handling, an order cart with live totals, a pickup/delivery checkout with card (Stripe) or cash, and an admin with a live orders board, menu & section CRUD, opening hours and configurable currency, delivery fee and tax.

Highlights

  • Laravel 11 · PHP 8.2+ · MySQL — clean MVC with Eloquent relationships.
  • Public menu by section, dish detail pages, sold-out items auto-hidden.
  • Session cart with subtotal, delivery fee and tax; pickup or delivery.
  • Admin: live orders board with status flow, menu & section CRUD, settings.
  • Stripe (card) + cash payments, demo mode when keys are blank.
  • Form-request validation, CSRF, admin middleware, demo seeder.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the server requirements to run Tindra?

Tindra requires PHP 8.2 or higher, a MySQL database, and Composer to install Laravel 11 dependencies. Any standard VPS or shared hosting plan that meets these requirements (such as those running on Apache or Nginx) will work. No Node.js runtime is required in production.

Do I need a Stripe account to accept payments, or can I test it without one?

Stripe is required only if you want to accept card payments; if you leave the Stripe API keys blank, Tindra automatically activates demo mode so you can explore the full checkout flow without processing real transactions. Cash on delivery is also available as a built-in payment option with no third-party account needed.

What exactly is included in the purchase — is this a SaaS subscription or a one-time code purchase?

You receive the complete Laravel 11 source code as a one-time purchase with no monthly SaaS fees and no per-order commissions charged by the script. You self-host the application on your own server and own both the code and all customer/order data outright.

How do I manage the menu, and can I mark items as sold out?

The included admin panel provides full CRUD management for menu sections and individual dish items, including pricing and details. When an item is marked as sold out, Tindra automatically hides it from the public-facing menu — no manual page edits or coding required.

Can I configure the currency, delivery fee, and tax rate for my region?

Yes, currency symbol, delivery fee, and tax rate are all configurable from the admin settings panel, so you can adapt Tindra to any local market without touching the codebase. These values are applied live to the session cart's subtotal calculations and the checkout summary.

How customisable is the code, and do I need deep Laravel knowledge to modify it?

Tindra is built on standard Laravel 11 MVC architecture with Eloquent relationships, so any developer familiar with Laravel and PHP 8.2+ can read, extend, or restyle it straightforwardly. The clean structure means adding new menu fields, tweaking the checkout flow, or reskinning the front end are all well-contained changes.
